Hello, this is Kilch, President and CESnow. Wow, we talked to so many people about RAMP at the Music Festivals in WA and NYC the last few weeks. Thanks for all those who came by to talk to us and congratulations to Justin Ivey who won our contest for a free RAMP Ski or Snowboard from all the concert entries.

Now we’re back in Park City madly getting ready for the season. I have been in daily communication with our factory making sure our product arrives early October in plenty of time to ship the orders that are already coming in.

Exciting news, we are buying new Wintersteiger finishing equipment coming end of September which is going to allow us to put an amazing tune on our new products before we ship them to you. Instead of the usual factory finish, which generally needs to be tuned when you get your bindings mounted, we are going to take it to the next level. We are buying a Sigma SBI Stone grinder that will allow us to create an amazingly flat base with the best universal stone structures in the bases. These provide the optimum glide in the most variety of snow surfaces. In addition we are buying a Trim B edger that will allow us to have a precise 1 degree base edge bevel and a 2 degree side edge bevel for optimum grip and ease of use. From Verdonk Racing we are getting a new ceramic side edge polisher for incredibly sharp, clean edges. Most great technicians will tell you it’s not just about the tune, it’s more about how you finish the skis and boards after they go through the machines. Many technicians take the skis after the edging machines and simply run a gummy stone at 45 degrees to the edge to detune. The problem is it’s fairly clean but not so sharp. Using the ceramic polishing tool will let us have a clean, polished, very sharp edge that is easy to ski or ride. Next a Wintersteiger Waxjet Machine so your RAMP Skis and Boards are fast and well preserved for shipping. We use the best Isosport 7500 Sintered base on our skis and snowboards. This base is black because they use carbon in the mixture when producing this material. It’s the best base made for versatility in all conditions and for wax retention. Some people ask why not clear bases with more graphics. The answer is this base is the most legit and we’re all about doing what is legit. We are of course now going to be able to maintain our demo fleets in race tuned condition.
