CUSTOM GROUNDHOG

Are you dying to have the Groundhog, but with a custom topsheet? Well then this is for you. You can either browse through our artwork library, choose a different RAMP topsheet or send in your own artwork to be made into your one-of-a-kind ski. All the technical specs of the Groundhog, will remain the same, you're just opting for a custom topsheet. See Custom Artwork Guidelines below.

Whether Punxsutawney—the mischievous groundhog—sees his shadow or not, the winter season is long with plenty of variable snow. This is the one ski that does it all—wherever you go, whatever the conditions. Pop through some powder in the trees or slash the sidecountry, then rip to the bottom on a steep, hard groomer. Go from early season hard pack to late-season pow. RAMP’s Groundhog does it with ease, and, of course, a little mischief.

Groundhog 2014: Custom

Are you in search of the evasive quiver ski? This is it. The award-winning Groundhog is the ski that can tackle everything, from gripping it on groomers to poaching powder. With the 50%-50% Camber, the medium-plus early rise tip, strong tail, and traditional camber underfoot makes this the do-it-all ride. If you ski about 50% groomers and 50% powder, then this is the ski for you. With 100mm underfoot and a shape for turning and burning, we call this the "One Ski Quiver" for a reason.

Constructed with a FSC certified full bamboo core, the ride is strong. Even stronger with a Kevlar veil, which adds energy to your turns and dampens vibrations. Our specially designed Razor Cut sidecut provides strong edge grip—straighter where you need cutting power and curved in the right spots for turning.

WOW I love them! - John Leitner

In one word—WOW! I love them! I patrol here in Michigan and at first I thought I bought the wrong ski, but after several runs I decided I liked them. After several days on them, I thought I might just really like them. Then we headed out to Colorado and hit the big dump of 3 feet of powder in two days. That's when I found out I love these skis! Bumps, groomed, powder (Michigan ice)—the whole enchilada! These skis perform well and I'm so happy to have them. Just thought you should know!

RAMP’s Groundhog ski is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. - Backcountry Skiing Canada

According to Backcountry Skiing Canada “The Beaver/Groundhog fits the bill as a one-ski quiver—pretty good in powder but truly excels as an all-mountain ripper.“ The full review can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/lsste3h

One of the “Best Skis of the Season.” - Men’s Journal

Forgiving is the single best word to describe the Groundhog. Whether skiing over bumps or down groomers, this Utah-built ski is extremely easy to turn, even if you're off-balance. To see the full Men’s Journal review visit: http://tinyurl.com/n3nfnyk

Extremely versatile ski - geeride

Got the Groundhogs out for the first time on 8" of pow and loved 'em. Big smiles. In wind-packed and crud they were very stable and easy to control, more smiles. In the afternoon I headed over to some packed pow bump runs and the hawgs absolutely rocked! Turned back the clock 10 years for this old guy everywhere on the mountain. Highly recommended!

As an added bonus, when the skis bump each other they put out the very sweet sound of a bamboo wind chime. Way nicer than that clunky plastic/metal sound I got on the old boards.
