Kristen grew up in Maine with skiing in her blood. Her dad worked as a rep, her mom as a coach at Cranmore, and her grandfather as an instructor at Cranmore after being a soldier in the legendary 10th Mountain Division. She learned to ski at Cranmore, spending every weekend there during the winters as a kid until her family moved to Vermont.
Kristen started riding horses when she was 4 years old which became her life-long passion. She competes extensively as a professional in the hunter-jumper circuit on the east coast, and works as an instructor. She attended the University of New Hampshire, and currently lives in New Hampshire with her husband Dave, and their dogs Luna and Lola.
