Lou Sardella

Lou was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, where in 1985 he started Sun Automation, a machinery manufacturing company in the corrugated box industry. He graduated from Johns Hopkins and holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Lou has over 40 years experience in building companies from start-up, and has been awarded over 17 patents for his inventions, many of which are now considered the standard in the industry in which he worked. He has lead Sun Automation from its inception, serving as Chairman and President. After selling the company to the employees, Lou recently retired from Sun, which is currently at $50 million in worldwide sales. Lou now pursues other interests including serving on other boards of directors and as Chairman and majority owner of RAMP Sports.
