Pat Holland
U.S. Snowboarding Team, SBX
Pat Holland, younger brother of Nate Holland, grew up skiing in Sandpoint, Idaho. At the age of 10 he switched over to snowboarding and soon after high school moved to Jackson Hole, WY. He has been hooked on snowboarding ever since.
Pat first set his sights on the Olympics after watching his brother compete in the Torino Games in 2006. After deciding this, Pat moved to Squaw Valley, California and started training to make the team. He is now racing snowboardcross as a part of the U.S. Snowboard Team with his brother Nate for about 5 years, pulling in two top-10 finishes on the World Cup and another at the Winter X Games. In the summers Pat is an avid water skier and wake boarder. In between training he and his brother Nate teach lessons and run a water sports business out of Sandpoint, Idaho, called Action Water Sports.
