The versatile big-mountain ski
The multi-award winning Peacepipe is the most versatile big-mountain weapon on the planet! The 17m radius makes it feel like a front side carver, and it’s wide enough under foot so it floats in the deep and chunder. This high-speed all-mountain ski is the perfect balance for carving, powder skiing, threading trees, making quick turns, and slaying big lines. It has 42cm of early rise in the tip and 21cm in the tail so it’s loose and has bombproof edge grip. Traditional camber in the center, with a rock-solid bamboo core and full Kevlar layer make it tough, rock resistant, energetic, and versatile. Truly the one ski quiver for the rider who craves off piste.

I love me my Peace Pipes - Cupcake
I'm a crusty old 'troller with a eastern race background. After 20 years in the east and then 15 in the PNW I moved to Utah and needed a legit powder ski. But I expect a ski to perform on the groomers and chopped up crud as well (Another Long Traverse Ahead anyone?).I'm 5'7", 140 and the 179 is puuuurfect. It is nimble in the trees and chutes and god forbid those heinous shark-tooth moguls my old, destroyed racer knees loathe. It excels in the pow, smear and float it loves to do. But on those run outs across the flats like Collins Mid-Station they will run flat or carve it up, not hook it up. Put a beefy binding on this baby like the other reviewer said. I actually put alpine bindings on mine, I use a lighter ski for touring. The ski is stiffer than what some people want. But if you ski hard, expect performance and can stay on top of a beefy ski then the Peace Pipe will charge for you. Even if you are a washed up 40 something chick...
Thanks Kilch! You won't remember me, but I used to get my race stock skis from you 25 years ago in Maine/NH. Glad to support your company and your ethos! I'm going to have to come in and demo a pair of the Groundhogs...there is a hole in my quiver!

Let the Pipes rip! - Dallin Hall
Two seasons deep on the Peacepipe and I couldn't be more stoked. Looking for something that floats in the pow but punches through crud? Look no further. It's the 115 fat that does it all. Oh yeah, did I mention it kills it on groomers? Mount up on the "more aggressive" binding mark and let the Pipes rip!Posted on 8/8/14
