Woodpecker Touring

With 90mm underfoot, staying on-piste isn’t the sole purpose of this adventurous pecker. With a medium-minus early rise in the tip, it gives you just enough rocker to float in pow, but with the sidecut dimensions of 123-90-111mm, it isn’t beefy and burdensome for going up. The award-winning Woodpecker includes a Kevlar veil—adding energy to the FSC certified bamboo core—for excellent rebound in turns. Our specially designed Razor Cut sidecut provides strong edge grip—straighter where you need cutting power and curved in the right spots for turning.

Ambition 12 Alpine Touring Binding

The Ambition is the newest binding to the Tyrolia touring lineup. It is the ultimate tool for the skier who wants a light binding (3.8 pounds) for going up but a reliable binding for going down. The Ambition is outfitted with the Alpine Touring Toe that can be adjusted to alpine and touring boot norms and provides superior safety features. It also includes the Alpine Touring Heel and Climbing Aid, which provide better walking balance and effortless climbing with four different climbing aid positions (0, 5, 10, and 15 degree). With some bindings, lightweight equates to poor downhill performance but not with the Ambition. The Tyrolia Freeflex System interacts with all of the binding parts to flex naturally on the ski to bring you excellent downhill performance. The Ambition 12 has a DIN range of 4-12.

Touring Pole

Touring requires a reliable pole that is sturdy but light. It’s a tough order to fill. But the RAMP Touring Pole does just that with the Titanal.HF shaft that boosts weight-bearing strength without adding much weight. The Power Lock II locking system gives you more locking power and Airfoam grips are contoured to fit your hand and give you a comfortable ride. The three-section design collapses into a compact size for easy packing.
