Free to fly
Getting the bird while hammering out high-speed groomers might be the norm, ah, but who cares cause flying is fun. But staying on-piste isn’t the sole purpose of this adventurous pecker. If it snows, the woods are home and a place to forage for that next meal of tempting treats in the trees. If that doesn’t whet an appetite, bouncing out a bump run will.

Woodpecker 2014 (Ski Only)
The award-winning Woodpecker is the perfect choice for the skier who spends 65% of the time on groomers but likes to venture off trail, too. A 90mm waist is the best shape for versatility, especially when it comes to groomers, providing a catch-free tip that can hook up and carve like a race ski. With the 65%-35% Camber, the medium-minus early rise and reverse sidecut in tip, strong tail, and traditional camber underfoot makes this the go-to ride.
Constructed with a FSC certified full bamboo core, the ride is strong. Even stronger with a Kevlar veil, which adds energy to your turns and dampens vibrations. Our specially designed Razor Cut sidecut provides strong edge grip—straighter where you need cutting power and curved in the right spots for turning.

Capable of astonishing the rider... - Eric Edelstein
An apparently mild-mannered, friendly trail horse which is actually a champion barrel racer when unleashed...capable of astonishing the rider who doesn't expect such a high-performing ride in an unassuming package. —Eric Edelstein, Exoticskis.comPosted on 4/7/14
Outrageous - Duff
I've been skiing a pair of Volkls(75 underfoot) and have really enjoyed them, but skiing these was like night and day. I've been on a handful of skis over the past two years and the Woodpecker was without a doubt the best, most impressive ski I've tried. What I thought was bordering on too fast for me before was just a comfortable, great ski for me on these. Great edge, instant response when making turns, very fast, and just felt in complete control at my peak speeds. Really can't say enough. The sooner I have $619 dollars to spend the sooner I'll be cruising around New England on these. Thanks for these All-American beauties.Posted on 2/18/14
