Kapow 2013 Description
With a 125mm waist and twintip shape, pow is home. The Razor Cut sidecut takes it to another level—carve turns on hard windblown, frozen crud, and runouts. The Pow Freestyle Camber gives the perfect blend of a catch-free tip and tail with a strong tail for carving. The full vertical bamboo core makes the ski feel more rock solid and energetic than any other construction.
RAMP Sports uses an innovative new way to print graphics directly onto the raw wood material. This was an "impossibility" according to product experts. We invented a process to prove them wrong, and in turn, our top sheets look painted, like fine artwork. Each print is slightly different in color and dimension from the other, meaning you get a genuine handmade gem. We stand behind our graphic sublimation process. Our "Love It or Leave It" warranty is there for your satisfaction, and we are confident you'll love your new, unique handmade-in-America ski. Enjoy.
- Nothing can stop these skis by Marc Nadeau
- This year I grabbed a pair of the Kapows, have not used them much, but I have skied them twice. On a 6" day at Deer Valley, they skied just like my Peacepipes, took on everything DV had to offer with no problems. Next time was at Sundance resort with 30", and they rocked the deep there—nothing could stop these skis. With that extra width under foot, landing 15-foot drops seemed effortless. (Posted on 2/25/13)
