Johnny is our materials specialist. He is responsible for the fiberglass, carbon and kevlar fibers that make up the inside of our skis and boards. Son of RAMP founder, Mike Kilchenstein, Johnny is dedicated to producing quality skis and snowboards. His craftsmanship skills are evident throughout our handmade ski line.
He was born in Dover, New Hampshire and at age 2 Johnny started skiing at Cranmore Mountain. Ultimately Sugarloaf became his home base until he moved to Park City, Utah. When he’s not skiing, you will find him camping, hiking, or woodworking.
"The Kapow is the first ski I've been on that actually makes me feel like a better skier."
