Warranties

RAMP Limited Warranty

RAMP warrants its skis and snowboards to be free of manufacturing defects for one year commencing 10 days after they are shipped from our warehouse. What is covered: structural damage, such as a broken ski or snowboard, or a delamination.

What is not covered: any damage caused by rock impact, damage from rails, or damage derived from travel such as baggage handling issues. Cosmetic issues, such as small topsheet chips, edge oxidation or general wear and tear, would not be considered defects. Binding retention problems resulting from improper installation (for instance not being drilled with a 3.5mm bit or being over-torked) would not be considered a defect.

*Please note that only ski/snowboard purchases made directly through RAMP, online vendors, and/or retail shops are honored for warranty. No second-hand or third-party purchases will be fulfilled. RAMP has the prerogative to ask for proof of purchase. **Demo skis/boards and factory seconds are also void for warranty.

All product bought at direct price will be sent a call tag for warranty and repair. If product was purchased through any other promotion, offer, coupon code, etc., shipping cost will be the responsibility of that customer. It takes about 3-5 business days for us to process your exchange once it is received by our warehouse. We'll send you an email confirmation when we get your new product out the door and on its way to you.

Hassle-Free Return Instructions:

  1. Must provide your original proof of purchase.
  2. Call our Customer Service 1-888-406-0567 to create a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number for the item you want to exchange.
  3. Coordinate with the Customer Service Rep which product you would like to return.
  4. Pack your skis or board back in the RAMP Sports bag, and go to your nearest FedEx to ship.

Tyrolia Limited Warranty

Tyrolia warrants to the initial purchaser that its 600, 700 series and newer bindings are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of four years from date of purchase or five years from date of manufacture whichever period expires earlier. For Rental bindings it is 2 years from date of purchase. Tyrolia disclaims all other warranties express or implied (USA and Canada).

Buyer’s sole remedy under the above warranty or under any implied warranty is limited to the repair or replacement at Tyrolia’s sole option, of subject product or parts thereof. Buyer should return the subject product or parts to the place of purchase for warranty service.

This limited warranty applies only to products that have been subject to normal use and that have been properly serviced.

It excludes parts subject to wear such as AFD’s, brakes, window, plastic or metal tracks, etc. The “Instructions for Use” booklet (warranty), proof of purchase and proof of periodic service must accompany all bindings returned for replacement consideration.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall Tyrolia be liable for incidental, consequential statutory or exemplary damages, whether the action is in contract, warranty, negligence or strict liability, including without limitation, loss to property other than the binding, loss of use of the binding or other property, or other economic losses. Tyrolia shall not be liable for contribution or indemnification, whatever the cause. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

SERVICE UNDER THE TYROLIA WARRANTY AT RAMP

Products requiring service under the terms of the warranty should be dealt with as follows:

  1. Send the complete binding set to RAMP where evaluation will be made and warranty action taken if required. If a clear warranty situation exists, RAMP will replace the pair of bindings, out of stock, for a customer. If the same model is sold out RAMP will check suitability and mounting-hole pattern before making a change of model.
  2. The “Instructions for Use” booklet (warranty) and proof of purchase must accompany all products returned for consideration.

When possible, the replacement should be of the same model as the returned product. If the same model is not available, RAMP will substitute a more expensive model if it is appropriate. RAMP reserves the right to deny replacement if the alleged problem is not verified or if products are returned without the “Instructions for Use” booklet and proof of purchase. Replacement bindings are covered by the warranty stated above.

Any bindings returned to RAMP due to inappropriate release values (i.e. values which fall outside the “in-use” tolerance range on the current adjustment chart) must be accompanied by a completed System Performance Report. The report form is printed in this manual; no warranty action will be taken on release value related claims unless this report accompanies the returned bindings.
